"I don't remember a time in life where I didn't want to work with animals. When I was only 7 years old my parents surprised us with a yellow labrador retriever puppy. We named him Jack Riley Brown. Yes that's right - we gave him a middle name! Jack was a true blessing in disguise. He provided us with comfort, love, and laughter. Jack was my best friend. He'd lay by my side when I was sick, or when I was sad. He was there for my most important moments growing up. As Jack grew older, he started struggling with some health concerns. As a pet parent, I could tell how hard it was for my mom and dad to make the difficult decision to let Jack cross the rainbow bridge. When the day finally came, it was my first big loss. I broke and at that time I never thought I'd heal. I even tear up now as I write my story. 

All that being said, I went into the veterinary technician program at Maritime Business College and received my diploma back in 2021. Not knowing how to help Jack when he became ill, instantly made me eager to learn all about veterinary medicine. I wanted to be there to help my patients and my clients in good and bad times. 

Unfortunately, after over 3 years working at several different clinics, my mental health no longer allowed me to do the job I truly loved. I made the hard decision to take a step back. However, I can't imagine doing anything other than working with animals so I decided to care for pets in another way.
This lead me where I'm at today. I did a lot of research, and continue to learn to broaden my knowledge on all the services I offer at Anna's Pet Care Services. I take such pride in what I do. My whole heart goes into the care I provide each and everyone of your pets."
